This is a quicky post of 13 malls I frequent. They range from close proximity to about an hour and a half drive. All have a major department store as an anchor or within walking distance from the rest of the mall.

4. Wheaton Plaza- major anchor stores include JcPenny, Macy's, Target

5. Potomac Yard- major anchor stores include Target

6. Pentagon City- major anchor stores include Macy's, Nordstrom

7. Columbia Mall- major anchor stores include Lord & Taylor, JcPenney, Sears, Nordstrom, Macy's

8. Laurel Mall & vicinity- major anchor stores include Macy's, Burlington Coat Factory

9. Hagerstown Outlets- major chain stores include Gap, Nike, Bass, Coach, Van Heusen, Geoffrey Beane

10. Queenstown Outlets- major chain stores include Nike, Gap, Old Navy, Coach, Geoffrey Beana, Van Heusen, Bass

11. Montgomery Mall- major anchor stores include Macy's,Sears, Nordstrom

12. Landmark- major anchor stores include Lord & Taylor, Sears, Macy's
