One more day

I'm so glad I have today off......that extra day will surely come in handy in getting some rest.

I've lost count of what day I'm on with spending hiatus.......and well to be truthful, cause I have no reason to lie, it doesn't matter much. I've spent everyday this weekend......

Friday was a birthday gathering for a friend at one of my favorite restaurants......and I had to get a card and a giftcard. So that was $30, and I shared expense with other friends at my table, so that was another $50 and then I needed gas to the tune of $13.

Saturday, I had a few carpet people come out to give estimates then it was off to run some errands. I barely found some thing for my niece. I got a summer outfit for about $13 and then 2 t-shirts from the disney store at $3 each, oh and I picked up a travel mug since it was on clearance for $4. And for Luv-Luv day, I got hubby some stuffed chicken breast and potatoes au gratin from Omaha Steaks. Last errand on Saturday was the grocery for a few things, and well I picked up some sparkling cider and a cake for hubby as well.

Sunday was the surprise birthday gathering for my grandmother. That set me back about $38. Afterwards, I came straight home........
